Here at Staff Squared, we understand that reporting on your employee data is equally as important as having the ability to store and manage it, and so we have made a few changes to your reports to help make the process easier and more effective. 

Navigation Bar

The first change you will notice when logging into your account is that the order of your navigation bar has changed. 

The tabs that appear down the left of your screen are now displayed in order of popularity, meaning that your favourite pages are now closer to the top of the list. Reports have been moved from the bottom of this bar and now ranks at number 7. 


Reports Page 

When you’re looking for specific information but find yourself scrolling through a stream of reports, a simple task can become quite a time-consuming ordeal. 

With this in mind, we have created a report page that is much easier to navigate, using tabs to filter between the most popular reports, visualisation reports that now have graphs and charts to show your data in a more granular way, absence reports and all others that fall outside of these three categories. 

What’s more, the ‘All’ tab is now ordered by popularity, so your favourite reports can be found towards the top of the page, saving the need to scroll through to find what you need. 

Some of the reposts have been renamed, but please don’t worry. You can view the old title by hovering over the report and the new search bar located at the top of the page will pull results for both old and new report names. 

Visualisation Reports

We’ve grouped all the reports that now have graphs and charts into one area so that you can easily find the data you’re looking for. 

Be sure to click on the chart icon next to the report name, otherwise, it will not open when you are taken into the report. Don’t worry if you forget though – there is another chart icon in the top right corner of every visualisation report, so you can turn it on and off from there too. 


Holiday Summary Report

A list of pending, upcoming, recently taken and cancelled holidays by holiday period.


Sick Leave Summary Report

A list of sick leave by holiday period, including pending and ongoing (where this exists).


Holiday Detail Report

A list of all holiday requests for each member of staff.


Holiday Overview Report

Holiday balances for each member of staff, covering allowance, bank holidays, earned for pro-rata, used, adjustments and remaining.


Sick Leave Detail Report

A list of all sick leave instances for each member of staff and the associated cost to your business.

Sick Leave Overview Report

The total number of sick days, instances and the Bradford Factor score for each member of staff.


Staff Leavers and Starters Detail Report

All members of staff that have joined or whose employments have ended in the given period.


Headcount Detail Report

A list of all members of staff at the company on a given date.


Pulse Report

Previous Pulse surveys and NPS calculations. Read more about Pulse here


Time Spent by Staff Report

All time logged by staff, grouped by the staff member the time was logged by.
